SVR 10/11 Modding By Amaan

Tutorial by Amaan

You must have this necessary tools first.

X-packer

Gim Converter

Puyo Tools

And visit sound and vedio tools section for sound and vedio modding tools

So, let's begin with modding wrestlers. Well, models in SvR are mostly called 'pacs'. So, how to start?
Think of a wrestler, if it's not in SvR games, choose a base. The best ref. pics are posted here in cormods blog by coroner.
Also, you'll need the ARC ID's while importing back in-game. What are ARC IDs? They're 3 digit numbers and specific for each slot. (wrestler/diva) Suppose The Rock, his ARC Id is '100', this '100' is the identity of The Rock's slot.
Now, must know where the pacs belong. (CH, CH2 or CH3)
For that, 80las has made them already.
1. First, find your pac file and locate it in the desktop.
2. Open X-Packer, open up your pac file as a PSP/PS2 Wrestler PAC
3. Uncompress 09.pac, re-inject it and you'll have a lot of textures showing up.
4. Extract all in a New folder
5. Open puyotools and do this:
Images -> Decoder -> Select Directory and choose your 'New folder'.

6. Now, in the new folder, you'll have 'Gim Converted' folder. Open it and you have the textures with you.
7. Edit them.
8. Compress the edited images using tinypng.
9. Convert them to Gim files using Gim Conv.
11. Get all the edited and unedited textures together in another folder.
12. Open X-Packer and create a texture archive (CTRL+N) of all the textures selected named 09.pac.
13. Re-open the model (PAC) file and inject the new 09.pac.
Done!
How to import?
You can import this using 2 tools by 2 members, lol.
1. Nike the bikes tool, SvREditor_v2*
2. HARDX36's tool, SvR Importer.
Nike the bikes tool.
Extract CH*.pac, and plistpsp.arc from your ISO.
Now you'll have 3 files with you:
1. Your modded pac file
2. CH*.pac
3. plistpsp.arc
Copy these 3 files and paste in these paths:
Svredit_v24
Svredit_v24 -> svredit files -> 2010 -> PSP
Now, open CMD.
Suppose the name of my pac file would be Rock.pac
so I would have typed this in the CMD:
import Rock.pac 100 01 PSP
Enter!
Done, enjoy with it.
HARDX36's tool.
Extract CH*.pac and plistpsp.arc from your ISO.
Now, you'll have 3 files with you:
1. Your modded pac file
2. CH*.pac
3. plistpsp.arc
1. Open SvR Importer tool, and select the Wrestler option.
2. Load ARC file (plistpsp.arc)
3. Load Main PAC (CH*.pac)
4. Enter Wrestler ID (100, 101 etc.) Depends on which slot you wanna import.
5. Attire ID:
01= Ring attire
02= Entrance attire
04= Special Entrance attire (only for special slots like John Morrison's.
Import. It'll automatically update the .ARC file.
Enjoy with this!

Wanna mod arenas? Alright, then.
This is my tutorial, but Arjun taught me this.
1. To get arenas, extract BG.pac from your ISO.
2. Open Nikethebikes tool svredit_v2* and locate your file there. And then, drag and drop in the 'export.bat' file. It'll automatically extract all the arenas.
3. Now, you need to know which arena is known as what ID:
[+] Spoiler
4. You also need to know what are the ARC Id's for arenas:
[+] Spoiler
5. Now, choose your arena and locate it in your desktop.
6. Open X-Packer by tekken57, open your Arena file as a PSP/PS2 Wrestler PAC
7. Uncompress C8.bpe in the desktop (ONLY)
8. You'll obtain C8.pac, open it as a Texture Archive (CTRL+T)
9. Extract all the textures in a new folder and edit it the textures (pngs)
10. Compress those using tinypng.
11. Convert them to gims and rename the gim files to 'PAC' using 'Extension Changer'.
12. Now get all the edited/non-edited PAC files together and in X-Packer, create a texture archive (CTRL+N) named 'C8.pac'
13. Re-open your arena file and inject the new C8.pac.
14. Now use nikethebikes tool svredit_v2*to import the arena or use HARDX36's tool 'SvR Importer tool'
Nike the bikes tool:
First, extract plistpsp.arc and BG.pac from your ISO
Now, you'll have 3 files with you:
1. Your modded arena
2. plistpsp.arc
3. BG.pac
Copy these 2 files and replace in svredit_v24 (or whichever version you use)
and in svredit_v24 -> svredit files -> 2010 -> PSP folder
Open CMD
Type this command:
import_arena 'arena name.pac' 'ID' 'console'
Suppose here, the name of my Arena is 'SD.pac', and I need to import over Smackdown slot, then here is what I would've commanded:
import_arena SD.pac 00 PSP
and would've pressed enter. It'll automatically import the arena.
HARDX36's tool (SvR Importer)
1. First, extract plistpsp.arc and BG.pac from your ISO
Now, you'll have 3 files with you:
1. Your modded arena
2. plistpsp.arc
3. BG.pac
locate these 3 files in desktop
1. Open his tool
2. Press arena option
3. You'll see at the left 'Load ARC File', press it and press your file 'plistpsp.arc'.
4. You'll then see at the right 'Load BG.pac', press it and press your file BG.pac
5. Select the arena slot of your own and load your modded arena.
6. Press Import. It'll import and update the arc automatically.

Wanna mod menus? To be clear, SvR 2011 has 12 menus and they're known as the following files:
EB00
EB01
EB02
EB03
EB04
EB05
EB06
EB07
EB08
EB09
EB10
EB11
To start modding those all, here is my tutorial.
First, you need to know how to extract the menus from menu.pac. Download the 'PSP Tools.zip' file above, and in that, I've included the correct Expert Tool files with plugins.
Now, extract the menu.pac from your ISO, and in expert tools, select 'PSP_PS2_DPAC_EXTRACTOR_REBUIL
DER' Plugin, then at select the menu.pac and extract LBA first. Then extract files. Close expert tools and delete all the files including menu.pac except the @MENU folder.
All the menu files are located in @MENU -> Menu folder
Ignore other files, just drag and drop your first EB00
1. Open it with as a PSP/PS2 Wrestler PAC in X-Packer
2. Uncompress 59.bpe in the desktop to obtain 59.pac
3. Open 59.pac as a texture archive (CTRL+T)
4. Extract all both the textures to a New folder
5. Convert those pacs to pngs using puyotools
6. Edit them.
7. Compress those images ones with tinypng
8. Convert them to gims
9. Edit their extension 'GIM' to 'PAC' using Extension Changer
10. In X-Packer, create a texture archive (CTRL+N) named 59.pac
11. Re-open EB00 and inject the new 59.pac
Do the same to other EBxx files.
Importing time.

SSFD.... = Small faces (box) while selecting your wrestler/diva in the selection screen. So, yeah. Lets mod it now.
This is not my tutorial, it's credit goes to Crocox111.
1. open svr 2011 iso with umdgen and extract plistpsp.arc and menu.pac
2. open the 2 files in hex editor (drag them on hxd)
3. look at menu.pac in hex and search SSFD
4. use Andy's method to extract SSFD
5. now open xpaker and open SSFD as PS2/PSP WRESTLER PAC then uncompress 00 on desktop
6. you will see on the desktop 2 files : 00.pac and 00.bpe (if your xpaker didn't extracted 00.pac then open quickbms and uncompress 00.bpe and rename it to 00.pac) then open 00.pac as PS2/PSP WRESTLER PAC
7 .xpaker will get an error but ignore it and wait few seconds then extract all the pacs on a folder
8. open puyo tools then select the folder where are located the extracted pacs and convert them to png
9. now you got the pngs and you can edit them
10. you should have around 70 files
11. after you edit the images convert them to gim and and inject them to 00.pac
12. be sure that you injected (this is an example) 6A.GIM to 6A file from xpaker
13. after you injected the gims inject the new 00.pac (not the backup file) in SSFD.pac
14. now open menu.pac in hex and go at the end and look at the offset
15. the offset should end in 800 or 000
16. if your offsed is not ending in 800 or 000 change to insert mode and add 0 till you get a valid offset (that ends in 800 or 000)
17. now copy the new offset (that ends on 000 or 800) and open SSFD.pac in hex and select it all
18. search on google and go to hex calculator
19. write your ofsset then divide it by 800 and then minus 8 : (offset /800) -8 and now you got something like (example : 615B)
20. now copy all the SSFD.pac at the end of menu.pac
21. got to properties of ssfd and look at the size
22. open normal calculator and calculate : (size of ssfd in kb x 1024) /100 then + 1
23. now search on google for decimal to hex converter. After you found it copy the result from the normal calculator and convert it
24. you will get something like this : (example : 54F then add a 0 in the front of it and you will have 054F)
25. now we have xx =615B and yy=054F (from example) so we need to reverse them
26. xx will be 5B61 and yy will be 4F05 (from example)
27. now open in hex plistpsp.arc and search SSFD
28. select the next four bytes after ssfd ( in the right part) and also you will see in the left part that there are selected 8 bytes . The first four that are selected in the left part is xx and the next four is yy
29. select xx on the left part and replace it with yours and yy replace it with yours
30. save menu.pac and plistpsp.arc then you will see a new plistpsp.arc and a new menu.pac
31. delete the backupfiles (plistpsp.arc.b
ackup and menu.pac.backup)
32. now go to umd gen and replace the menu and plistpsp wit your edited files and save it as an iso
33. put the game on your psp and go to play a match an you will see the edited images on the selection screen
Hope this tutorial helped
P.S. This tutorial is only working for SSFD.pac and it will not work for SSFA.pac , SSFB.pac or SSFC.pac

This is probably the easiest way to hack selection pics, using nikethebikes SvR roster editor.
So let's begin,
1.First open photoshop, I use CS5.
2.Press CTRL+N and the size must be : 128 x 256
3. Now download a render, I have this one :
4. Just drag and drop your render in PS (photoshop) and resize, crop or do whatever the you want to do.
5. Now save it.
6. Convert it to gim
NOTE : Don't reduce the size or make it index color!
7. The size of GIM file would be 128 kb.
8. Now open your SvR 2011 ISO in UMDGen, extract Plistpsp.arc and Menu.pac.
9. Now, don't close UMDGen, just open svredit_** (I prefer v24 the latest one works great).
10. Now, replace the 3 files
------ Your modded gim file
------ plistpsp.arc
------ Menu.pac
11. Yeah, copy these 3 files and the first time replace in 'svredit_v24' folder, and the second time replace in 'svredit_v24 -> svredit files -> 2010 -> PSP'
12. Open CMD, type this :
import_selection_pic 'name of your gim' 'ARC Id (add a 0 before it example rocks id will become 0100' 'section id, A replaces the pic while selecting an arena, B replaces the pic while selecting a superstar/diva' 'PSP'
So here is how it will go :
import_selection_pic Kane.gim 0107 B PSP
13. It'll automatically import.
14. Then, just replace the files in UMDGen and save a new copy of the ISO.
Done!

So as the title says, I am gonna be explaining you how to mod the belts in SvR 2011 PSP version, for PS2, I don't know the format and ..... you know! If anyone know's then just tell me I'll also edit this post and make a tutorial for PS2!
Anyway let's begin for PSP
First you need to know how to extract the belts
HOW TO EXTRACT THE BELTS :
1 . Open your ISO (SvR 2011) in UMDGen , and extract the Evtobj.pac
Don't know where it is then here you go :
EVTOBJ.PAC - PSP_GAME ~> USRDIR ~> PAC ~> EVT
2 . Now after extracting this file , you need to also have expert tool!
3 . Open expert tool and select the DPAC plugin and then select the evtobj.pac and extract the LBA first and then files.
4 . Now you will get @EVTOBJ.PAC folder and in that you will also find SOBJ folder and in that folder will be all the items and belts of the game
Now that you know and have extracted the files in evtobj.pac , you must know there ID's.
There's a list of the ID's found by OrKAdoS. Check in the tutorial index.
.. NOTE : I didn't found the list or I have nothing to do with the list , all credits to OrKAdoS.
Lets begin the original tutorial!
HOW TO MOD THE TITLE BELTS
1. Extract any belt by seeing the above list, example 2004 (WWE Title Belt)
2. Now just drag and drop the pac file (here 2004) in the desktop.
3. Open the 2004 file as a PS2/PSP Wrestler PAC with Tekken's tool " X-PACKER "
4. Now you will surely see '0A' slot, uncompress it in the desktop 'only' to avoid errors.
5. You will find 0A.pac and 0A.bpe, delete A0.bpe and keep A0.pac
6. Open 0A.pac as a texture archive in X-PACKER, and extract the textures in a 'New folder' and then convert the obtained PAC's to PNG's using pyuo tools.
7. Now edit them as your choice and then compress the PNG's by making then index colours 8bit in Adobe fireworks (Not important)
8.Now you drag the edited pngs to "GimConv" (gimconverter) and you will obtain GIM's, now rename then to PAC's and then put all the edited and non edited (maybe if you haven't edited some) in a folder and in X-PACKER, make a "NEW TEXTURE ARCHIVE" named "0A.pac"
9. Now inject this newly created 0A.pac in the 2004.pac file.
Now if you don't even know how to put the new belt in the game back then here is another tutorial for you!
HOW TO IMPORT BELTS BACK IN THE EVTOBJ.PAC AND UPDATE ARC FILE
1.Extract the EVTOBJ.pac and plistarc.pac
2.Now you will have 3 files with you
.. a) 2004
.. b)Evtobj.pac
.. c)plistpsp.arc
3.Now open svredit_v24 and drag and drop these files in the svredit_v24 folder and then also put these files in Svredit ~> 2010 ~> PSP
4.Now open CMD and type :
cd c:/svredit_v24 (press enter)
then type
import_any 2004.pac 2004 EVTOBJ PSP (press enter)
And it will automatically import the belt in evtobj.pac and also update the arc file
Now replace these 2 files " Evtobj.pac" AND "plistpsp.arc" in UMDGen and rebuilt the file.
DONE!

I will tell you how to make your source file since that is not illegal. Converting it with the umd composer software is illegal. Anyways... here goes....
Download and Install AviSynth
Install AviSynth first.
Find the file you want to convert.
Once found, open up notepad.
Type the following lines in the text document.
------------------------------
-----------------------------
DirectShowSource("VIDEO FILE.EXTENSION")
lanczosresize(128,128)
changefps(29.97)
------------------------------
-----------------------------
Replace VIDEO FILE.EXTENSION with the name of the file you want to convert including its extension. For example, in the video I'm using Daniel Bryan's WWE 13 Titantron and its
named "Daniel Bryan"
Disclaimer: Suggested video files are .Avi and .Mp4
------------------------------
-----------------------------
DirectShowSource("Daniel Bryan.Mp4")
lanczosresize(128,128)
changefps(29.97)
------------------------------
-----------------------------
Now save your text document in the same folder as your movie file. Make sure you save it as an .AVS file and not a .TXT file.
This is done by changing "Save as type" to "All Files" and adding the extension the the filename you are going to save it as, eg, Daniel Bryan.Avs
Now locate the folder in the zip file provided. open VirtualDubMod.exe
Go to File>Open File. Find your .AVS file. Open that. you should now see your video file in the window.
Now go to Video>Compression.
Choose "(Uncompressed RGB")
Then go File>Save As>Name your file ["In the video I put D-Bry"]
Sony UMD Tools
1: Open up the UMD Stream composer.exe
2: Go to new
3: Name it what you want [I named it "YES NO YES" in the video]. Click next
4: Don't touch any of the settings, look for PSP Movie Format box
5: Tick the PSP Movie format (for game) bit.
6: Hit finish
7: Go to video source
8: Find your video file made earlier with Virtual Dub Mod
9: Press Ok
10: Then look for the RUN option on the top
11: Now go to run at the top
12: Choose encode + multiplex
13: Hit start
14: Well done the .mps has been made
Step 4, .mps to .pmf Converter
1: Go to My Documents (well yours)
2: Go to the UMD Stream composer folder
3: The .mps file is in here somewhere (I forget where exactly!)
4: Put it in the same directory as the .mps to .pmf converter
5: Run the converter (Click makenewpmf.bat)
6: And your pmf file(s) should be created
Now change the name of the .pmf to the corressponding titantron to replace
Go to UMDGEN and replace it!
